A special note from the Director of Operations, RAH North Office -
“Cubs Fans, a one, a two………………………….”
I just wanted to send out a Quick Note to the team and show everyone the store we just delivered at Wrigley Field.
Just found this nugget on Starbucks Website, CLICK HERE:
MAJOR Props are in order for the team that delivered this project.
Project Manager - for dealing with the constant changes and pressure that comes with a project of this magnitude
Superintendent - for stepping into a difficult job midstream and delivering a beautiful store, in spite of every design change
ALL of the members of the North Office Field Crew – without your help and dedication there is no way we could have delivered this store
As a team, the store you’ve built exemplifies the core values of the company and turned out amazing, even with every challenge thrown at us! Guys take a bow, you deserve it!
This Aiken, South Carolina Chick-fil-A was our first major renovation for this existing customer in over 6 years of doing business together. R. A. Heath had to complete a very thorough qualification process to be able to perform this type of work. The R. A. Heath team was pleased with the positive feedback and review of this initial performance and is looking forward to the next one.
Upon receipt of our customer's finalized store list, we had four weeks to scope, order materials, and install ADA compliant handoff planes. Thanks to CCI for giving priority status to the needed materials, we were able to receive them with in one and a half weeks and complete all the stores on the expedited time frame. The team got a big thank you for helping to turn around this initiative so quickly.
A very local project to us, the Dekalb, IL Starbucks Coffee location underwent an extreme makeover. With a complete interior gut, this location received a major face lift with all new or added interior wall locations, casework, Wall of Chill and finishes. This project was completed 1 day ahead of schedule with the store only being closed 6 ½ days. Not only was this project completed early but within budget and a small 7 item punch list that was completed that evening.
"I just want to take a minute to recognize some outstanding individuals in your organization who I have worked with recently. These individuals have consistently gone above and beyond to provide exceptional customer service. They care about the product they deliver, and in some challenging situations they have all been utter professionals....Often we move so quickly from project to project we forget to say thank you or to recognize great performances and performers. So thank you, for providing us with great performers. I look forward to working with each of them again and again."
The Starbucks Roger's Park project was a 72 hour renovation with many logistical obstacles such as parking restraints, noise ordinances, limited debris disposal and delivery schedules. The store received new casework and layout, a clover machine, paint, artwork, soffit mods, furniture, new lighting, and new back splash. The team came together to complete the project on time and within budget. The Starbucks Construction Manager responded upon completion "this will be a great Christmas present for us, thank you."
The Starbucks project at Oak & Rush in Chicago this fall was a high profile job. It included a special roll out of a 'siphon bar' that was special ordered from Japan. The team was able to oversee the installation and make any needed modifications to the casework to ensure customer satisfaction with the final product. The modifications included cutting the siphon bar into the live edge counter top and modifying the steel supports. The project was completed ahead of schedule.
This job was a complete renovation of an existing vacant theater and our casework division manufactured the casework and many of the design elements.
Opening just in time for the much anticipated premier of the final Hunger Games movie, "Mockingjay 2"! May the odds be ever in your favor!
R. A. Heath Construction would like to say THANK YOU to all of our veterans, military service men & women, and their families for their time, talents, and sacrifices that keep our country GREAT and SAFE!
Starbucks recently commissioned a special project for Veterans Day to honor the local military service men, women, and their families. When we became aware of the project near Fort Jackson in Columbia, SC, our management asked if we could participate by donating our time to renovate the wall space and hang the artwork (as seen in these photos).
This project was very personal to one of our own carpenters who is a veteran of Iraq and Bosnia. After telling me about his work on this project and his time in military service, he ended the conversation saying "I was very proud to find out R. A. Heath was taking part and that I was asked to work on this project."
Although we were grateful to Starbucks for allowing us to participate, we were pleased to receive this compliment:
"Thank you for your partnership with Starbucks. I know that it has grown over the years in the number of projects and scope but more importantly what has grown is our respect of each other’s business. Your teams go above and beyond more than we know and the example of providing the installation of the artwork in Columbia at no cost as a commitment to the military members and the Starbucks initiative is an example. We truly appreciate our business relationship and thank you for this very kind gesture to celebrate those who serve us.
I could not have said it better myself regarding our partnership and respect for our businesses. The management at R. A. Heath appreciates the unique opportunities such as this to have our values and community service align with our customers.
But the real kudos go out to those who served and continue to serve to bring peace and preserve freedom. Thank you!
